Central Teacher Eligibility Test
Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national level test conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) every year. CTET acts as an eligibility certificate for candidates to be appointed as teachers for primary (I-V) or upper primary (VI – VIII). It also acts as an eligibility to appear in different exams like PGT, TGT, BTC, TET and NTT. This exam helps in maintaining a fixed standard for teachers in different central government schools. Here we will discuss the eligibility criteria and pattern of the examination and some additional details regarding the exam. CTET Eligibility Criteria The eligibility is different for both Primary stage and Elementary Stage. Primary Teacher (Paper 1) A candidate can apply to become a teacher for classes 1st-5thif any of the following criteria is fulfilled.
