Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national level test conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) every year. CTET acts as an eligibility certificate for candidates to be appointed as teachers for primary (I-V) or upper primary (VI – VIII). It also acts as an eligibility to appear in different exams like PGT, TGT, BTC, TET and NTT. This exam helps in maintaining a fixed standard for teachers in different central government schools.
